Hey peeps! I'm living in New York City now with E and the rest of the Apartment Jones crew. It's been one week. So far, I like it. It's overwhelming, fascinating, beautiful and disgusting. Ah, people. Anyway, today I want to learn how to skateboard because my four other roommates all love to travel by longboard. I'm still partial to scooters, but I'm slowly learning here.

Every day I have these minor but brilliantly absurd moments that make for way better comics. So, ta da!

Eh, working in Crayola colored pencils... I'm very pleased with the layout, at least. The drawings are messy, but I find it kind of endearing.

I'm terribly off schedule. NYC was hectic (but good), then I had to waste a day on the bus coming back. Never... again... Anyway, now I have less than a week before traveling again. Back to college with me!

Dapper Cat Comics #6 - "Diaeresis"

One of the very rare moments I can think up a pun, it's a nerdy English joke. A diaeresis (which has multiple variant spellings) is when a diacritic mark, or ¨, is used to indicate when a vowel is pronounced separately, such as in the word "naïve."

Also, I'm going to be in New York City visiting E from December 30th to January 6th, so updates might become irregular or sparse.
